Rhiannon’s journey began early and intensely. Before the age of five, she was diagnosed with Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Central Auditory Processing Dysfunction, multiple food allergies, high risk of seizures, and a rare metabolic condition. By age eight, she had a confirmed autism diagnosis (PDD-NOS).
Her mom describes that season as one where “normal development [began] to cease,” with regression in communication, dysregulation, loss of muscle tone, and a lack of awareness of danger. The impact was overwhelming: “It had turned all of our lives upside down… We were a mess.” 😩
Trying to find answers felt impossible… “like being in a room with no lights or windows while trying to find the door,” only to realize each door “opened up to another wall.” ❌
After learning about PX Docs through an autism support organization and listening to early Perfect Storm presentations, they decided to try care that truly understood autism. Seeing Rhiannon’s neurological scans was “overjoying,” confirming what they already sensed was happening beneath the surface. And after her very first adjustment, they saw “an immediate return of the release on our daughter’s face – and there was no looking back.” 🚀

Today, everything looks different. “Rhiannon actually looks forward to EVERY week’s appointment.” She has grown into “an amazing young woman,” graduating high school with academic honors, working five days a week at a therapeutic riding center, and competing at the highest level. She is a multi-time World Champion and nationally recognized rider. 🏆
Through every step, “Our doctors have been right there alongside her.” 🎉
