Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Scott Stachelek has been twice – awarded National Chiropractor of the Year, and is a university certified post
graduate instructor. He combines his passion with his 20+ years as a practitioner, and is father to Colin,
his 25 year old son, who suffered significant birth trauma and neurological injury at birth. Through applying clinical protocols developed over his 20+ years of experience, and by helping to found the world’s largest pediatric chiropractic training organization, Dr. Scott has become an expert provider for neurologically-focused, drug-free help for sensory conditions, ADHD, anxiety, seizure, and ASD concerns.
Dr. Ashley Latchman holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Albany and recently graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in March of 2024. Originally from Queens, New York, she comes from a large and diverse family with Guyanese, Trinidadian, and Brazilian roots. Growing up in such a vibrant and multicultural environment has instilled a deep appreciation for diversity and a strong sense of community. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies and is always up for trying something new. Whether it’s going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, working out, sampling new foods, or traveling. Interestingly, Dr. Ashley had no exposure to chiropractic care growing up. Her journey into chiropractic began when she was exploring alternatives to medical school, and wasn’t adjusted until her second or third week of chiropractic school! Dr. Ashley’s passion for pediatrics and prenatal care stems from her own large and growing family.
Dr. Scott Oden grew up in a small town in Alabama just north of Birmingham and earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University before graduating from the Birmingham Police Academy and serving as a patrol officer. He was first introduced to chiropractic care after experiencing back pain while on duty, where he learned that chiropractic was not only about pain relief but about optimizing nervous system health. This experience led his chiropractor to encourage him to pursue a career in chiropractic with a special focus on pediatrics, a decision that changed the course of his life and led him to attend Life University, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Oden immersed himself in pediatric and sports chiropractic clubs, and when he discovered a neurologically focused pediatric approach, it strongly resonated with him. Hearing the stories of families and children who struggled before neurologically focused chiropractic care reminded him of his own childhood experience of being diagnosed with ADHD and told medication was his only option. Understanding that chiropractic care could have supported his nervous system and potentially reduced the need for medication reshaped his perspective and solidified his purpose. Today, these experiences drive Dr. Oden’s passion for helping children tap into their unique strengths through fully functioning, optimized nervous systems, allowing them to express more of who they truly are.
