Ava had always struggled with constipation and stomach issues 😖 but Mom said after taking a round of antibiotics for an ear infection, everything spiraled out of control. She was having severe stomach pain, heartburn, migraines, and was completely miserable. 👎🏻
Mom said, “She ended up missing her last few weeks of cheer (something she loved doing) as well as tumbling and school. Her whole personality changed, and all she wanted to do was sleep. The whole family felt helpless as we watched her suffer because everything we tried did not work for her. It was extremely frustrating.
Before finding our PX Docs office, we had seen a number of doctors and specialists, including a pediatric GI at Lurie’s. It seemed as if every doctor recommended flushing her out with an entire bottle of Miralax over the course of two days. As her mother, I was not satisfied with this. The ingredients in Miralax are terrible, and ultimately, it was just a quick fix, but it wasn’t treating the problem in the long run.
Once we started at our PX Docs office, I noticed a change after our very first visit. I was excited about our journey because it seemed like a different approach than everything that had been offered to us in the past. It seemed as if everyone cared about what we were going through and were eager to help us fix the problem.
After looking at Ava’s neurological scans, everything started to make more sense to me. Her body was in flight or fight mode, and she was in desperate need of some help. All the areas that showed up in her scan that she needed help with directly correlated with the symptoms she was having.
The next morning, after her first adjustment, Ava had some color back in her face and had some of her fun, bubbly personality back. But, overall, I would say I noticed a major change in her around 1 month after starting.
Ava is back to her old self. She goes to school every day without crying, she is back in tumbling, and engaging in activities that she used to love to do. It is a huge weight lifted off of her shoulders. She looks forward to her adjustments, and we are eternally grateful for the help we have received. It is so good to have our girl back!” 🎉❤️
