Megumi is making major progress in speech and sensory challenges after mom and dad were left feeling desperate and (almost) hopeless! 🙌🏻

Mom said, “My daughter has had significant delays and medical issues since her surgery, and we have been working hard trying to get her back to where she needs to be. We worked with multiple doctors and therapists who were all great but no one could really address her significant sensory issues, and she was just looking so uncomfortable in her own body. She was also nonverbal.”

“We felt desperate and started to feel a bit hopeless.” 😔

After trying DT, OT, PT, & speech in early intervention, public school, and privately… Megumi was still struggling with major sensory challenges.  That’s when their incredible PTs at Dream Riders referred them to PX Docs to work in collaboration. 🤝

Mom said, “Our first meeting, they addressed exactly what we were looking for and had a clear explanation and plan for how we were going to address her sensory/neurological issues through adjustments. I thought finally that this was the major puzzle piece we were missing in her care, and we finally found it!

I was very impressed that you can actually see how her neurological system was so over-activated. Everything started to make sense.”

They saw major changes in Megumi during the first week of care when mom noticed she had released a ton of gas and her GI system started to move. Also, her neck and shoulders started to relax, and her overall movements started to look more natural. 

And you won’t believe it but…Megumi also started to TALK. 🤯

Now, Mom says, “After we started the chiropractic adjustments and horse therapy, she has progressed significantly and has become much more receptive to learning during her therapies. Our private speech therapist evaluated her from nonverbal to verbal. The speech therapist at her school was blown away by her progress. She is THRIVING in school right now.
